On 18th March I’ll be in Grenay, at Espace Ronny Couteur where there will be a screening of ‘Small Things Like These’ and after I’ll give a short talk placing the film in its historic context.

It’s part of the 35th Semaines Irelandaises en Artois-Gohelle when for a week, from March 14th to 21st, Irish music and film will be at the heart of the Lens-Liévin metropolitan area for the 34th edition of the Irish Weeks in Artois-Gohelle, from March 14th to 21st, 2026.
