New Book - down under!

I got some exciting (for me!) post today - copies of my latest book, The Shortest History of Dublin! It’s always thrill to get to see and feel (and smell) the book in real life.

The book gallops through the story of the city from pre-Vikings to the present day. Using music, literature, art, architecture, photographs alongside traditional sources Dublin and Dubliners in all their many facets come alive.

And I’ve claimed CMAT the ‘Dunboyne Diana’ for Dublin (as she said herself in 2022 - “I’m a Dub all the way”.) I think her brilliance is good enough to be shared between Dublin and Meath!

This edition is out in Australia at the end of September and can be pre-ordered here: Dublin. An Irish-UK-North America edition (with a different cover) will be in shops in the Spring - something I will doubtless remind everyone about nearer the time!
